About the Author
Rafael Seligmann, born in Tel Aviv in 1947, immigrated to Germany with his parents at the age of ten. He established the genre of the contemporary German-Jewish novel, with works such as "Der Musterjude" (The Model Jew) and "Der Milchmann" (The Milkman). As a non-fiction author, freelance journalist, columnist, and editor-in-chief, he is considered one of Germany's most respected political voices. He is the publisher of "Jewish Voice from Germany," the largest Jewish newspaper outside of Israel. His three-volume history of the Seligmann family has been published by Langen Müller.
