Information on Manuscript Submission
We are pleased that you are placing your trust in us and considering Langen Müller Verlag as a potential publisher for your book, as new and interesting projects are always welcome here!
Please send your manuscript exclusively digitally by email in PDF format.
Manuscripts or illustrations in paper form, letters, CDs, or handwritten texts cannot be considered.
Since we take the time to thoroughly review all submitted manuscripts, we kindly ask you to refrain from telephone inquiries and to understand that the decision-making process can take up to three months. Furthermore, please do not submit your manuscript multiple times. Please understand that due to the high volume of submissions, we cannot respond to all of them. If we have not contacted you after three months, it can be assumed that your manuscript unfortunately cannot be included in our program.
Please also consider the following points when submitting your manuscripts:
- Ensure that your book project's topic aligns with our publishing profile and program. You can find information about our content spectrum on our homepage.
- Please include an exposé briefly outlining your project and a brief bio about yourself as the author.
- Initially, please do not submit the entire manuscript, but rather a sample chapter of approx. 30 pages.
- It helps us in the assessment and speeds up our response if you provide us with the following information:
- Why should your project be published in book form?
- Who do you want to reach with your book, who should buy it?
- Has anything already been published on this topic? If so, what, and how does your book differ?
- In what way are you particularly competent?
