The state at its borders

Human history has always been characterized by migration processes. However, migration could not and cannot solve the problems in the countries of origin, but it does create new problems in the destination countries. The author develops proposals for a realistic immigration policy: from effective border controls to the effective fight against the root causes of displacement in the home countries. A profound analysis that should be widely discussed – because it is about the survival of our democratic system.
