About the Author

Michael F. Feldkamp

Michael F. Feldkamp is a historian. After receiving his PhD in Bonn in 1992, Feldkamp worked intermittently in the administration of the German Bundestag. He is the author of the "Data Handbook on the History of the German Bundestag" and has published approximately 50 books and several hundred scholarly articles, as well as encyclopedia and newspaper articles on German history. In recent years, his work has focused on parliamentary history, the pre- and early history of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the role of the Holy See in the Second World War regarding the Holocaust.
