Space capitalism

After the end of the Apollo project, space travel development stagnated, and the subsequent Shuttle program led to a technological dead end. After the space shuttles stopped flying in 2011, the USA no longer had a manned space transport system. They were now dependent on Russia's support to transport astronauts to the International Space Station. Elon Musk brought about the paradigm shift with his company SpaceX. This book analyzes the weaknesses of state-led ventures and describes the meteoric rise of private space travel. In the future, capitalism will be the engine for the further development of space travel. However, without property rights on the moon, Mars, and asteroids, central economic incentives remain blocked. With a foreword by Georg Kofler.
