Not like that!

We still pretend to be the best in the world. But experienced journalist Sigmund Gottlieb mercilessly holds up a mirror to us Germans: Our country and its elites are becoming more negligent and weaker by the day. We are resting on the successes of the past and letting more and more areas deteriorate: education, language, refugee policy, pensions. How overwhelmed our politicians are was dramatically demonstrated to us in the crisis trifecta of 2021 by Corona, the flood disaster, and Afghanistan. Why has it come to this? Should ethicists of conviction really take the lead, and should the increasing "cancel culture" silence more and more critics? If we don't turn things around soon, Germany is on the verge of decay.
