Sigmund Gottlieb, born in 1951, was Head of Politics at Bayerischer Rundfunk, Editor-in-Chief of the broadcaster for over 25 years, and Deputy Television Director of BR. The multi-award-winning journalist is known to a broad audience as a commentator for ARD's Tagesthemen, as a moderator of election debates, and through the political talk show "Münchner Runde".
