Germany on a downward spiral

Germany, still a strong country in the heart of Europe, has been in relative decline for years: for many, work no longer pays off, millions of immigrants from different cultures are pouring into the social security systems. The explosion of social spending is overwhelming public budgets.
The state is overwhelmed: a reform of asylum and migration policy has not been successful for years. The Bundeswehr is broke and incapable of national defense. Bureaucracy is increasing more and more. Digitization is stagnating, the tax system is hostile to performance. A utopian climate change threatens the foundations of prosperity.
