Meanwhile, the state is pouring billions into a failed migration policy, an absurd development aid, and funnelling vast sums into a close-knit network of left-wing lobby groups. These NGOs are the central drivers of an ideologically driven spending policy. Numerous associations, foundations and organisations, under the guise of "civil society", have gained massive influence on government work in recent years.
