About the Author
Walter Krämer
WALTER KRÄMER, born in 1948, studied mathematics and economics and was Professor of Economic and Social Statistics at TU Dortmund from 1988 to 2021. He is the author of over 40 books and 200 articles in national and international professional journals and popular magazines (Spiegel, Focus, NZZ, Zeit, FAZ, and many others). His "Lexicon of Popular Errors" has been translated into 20 languages and sold over one million copies. In 2014, Krämer was the first recipient of the "Readable Science" award from the Stiftung Lesen.
