Susanne Glass

Susanne Glass (born 1970 in Schwäbisch Gmünd) is a German war reporter, radio, and television journalist. She currently heads the foreign and political affairs department at Bayerischer Rundfunk in Munich. She is a commentator for ARD-Tagesthemen and a presenter for programs such as ARD-Brennpunkt. From 2016 to 2021, she was head of the studio and chief correspondent at the ARD studio in Tel Aviv, responsible for Israel and the Palestinian territories. Prior to that, since the beginning of the Kosovo War in 1999, she reported on Austria and Southeast Europe as an ARD correspondent in the Vienna studio. Susanne Glass is the author of several books, including "Schwestern der Revolution" (Sisters of the Revolution, Herbig, 2015) and "Grenzerfahrung – vom Balkan-Krieg zur Flüchtlingskrise" (Border Experience – From the Balkan War to the Refugee Crisis, Herbig, 2016).
