Oliver Carlo Errichiello
Prof. Dr. Oliver Errichiello, born in Hamburg in 1973, is a renowned German-Italian economic sociologist, consumption philosopher, and author. He studied sociology and psychology in Hamburg and Lyon and earned his doctorate on "Brand-Sociological Advertising." He worked for the protocol department of the German Bundestag, then as a strategic planner for advertising agencies and in marketing. Today, he runs his own company and is also "Director for Innovation" for a major German hospitality holding company. Errichiello is an expert in brand positioning, advertising, and green brand management, and he teaches brand sociology and consumption psychology at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and the University of Hamburg. Lectures and seminars have taken him to countries including Great Britain, Italy, Indonesia, and China. He is also the author of 20 non-fiction and specialist books and a regular interview partner on advertising and consumption for broadcasters from ARD to ZDF.
