Fritz Vahrenholt

Prof. Dr. Fritz Vahrenholt, born in 1949, is a chemist, politician (SPD), manager, scientist, and author. He served as Senator for the Environment in Hamburg and subsequently as a board member in companies within the renewable energy sector. In 1998, he was appointed honorary professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Hamburg.
