Millions of children, both young and old, listen to audio plays daily or fall asleep to them. For more than 40 years, Heikedine Körting has produced successful series such as The Three Investigators, TKKG, Five Find-Outers, and Hanni and Nanni. In total, she has directed over 3,000 audio plays for the Europa label. However, success was by no means handed to her on a silver platter. She had to battle serious illnesses, disastrous school grades, and bullying. Often, she was at a crossroads and almost gave up her job as an audio play director several times.
