Leo Sailer inherits a dilapidated grand hotel on Lake Kochel. He wants to save the old building, which his great-grandfather built over 100 years ago, at all costs, unlike the young manager Julia Dehne.
When a lost masterpiece by Kandinsky resurfaces, it seems to be the salvation, but that's when the real problems begin. Leo and Julia get caught up in a whirlwind of emotional, criminal, and comedic entanglements, in which real estate sharks, petty and major criminals, a hopelessly overwhelmed police force, and an intellectual marten play decisive roles...
