On September 11, 1962, lawyer Heinz Krug disappeared. His involvement in the Egyptian missile program led to a series of conspiracy theories amid the political tensions of the Cold War and the simmering Middle East crisis. Evidence quickly pointed towards the Israeli secret service Mossad, and Heinz Krug's children, Beate and Kaj, are still haunted by their father's unresolved fate. More than fifty years after his disappearance, they are speaking for the first time about their long search for the truth. Their investigation led them through the work of secret services and into the highest political circles of the Federal Republic of Germany. They vividly illuminate the background of the "Missile Krug" case, but also recount their adventurous childhood in political Cairo of the 1950s.
