Philipp Bagus

Philipp Bagus is a Professor of Economics at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. His research focuses on monetary and business cycle theory. He is a Fellow of the Mises Institute (USA), a member of the academic advisory board of the Ludwig von Mises Institute Germany and the Liberales Institut in Switzerland, an IREF fellow, and the author of numerous books. His book Anti-Rallo was named the 2023 Libertarian Book of the Year. In 2016, he won the "Ludwig Erhard Prize for Economic Journalism." Philipp Bagus is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elementum International, a specialist in precious metals storage in Switzerland.
