Gunnar Schupelius

Gunnar Schupelius was born in Berlin in 1963 and is a passionate Berliner. He has actively experienced the changes in his city for decades, first in local politics, then as a journalist. After working for Berliner Morgenpost and BILD Berlin, the trained historian first headed Berlin Radio Hundert,6. He was head of the Berlin office and news editor at Welt am Sonntag, and a member of the editorial board at Hörzu. Since 2005, he has been a member of the editorial board of B.Z., where he and BILD comment daily as a columnist on the absurdities of Berlin - and yet he remains optimistic.
