About the Author
Bruno Baumann, born in 1955, studied ethnology and history and lives as a writer and filmmaker in Munich. The adventurer is considered one of the foremost experts on Asia, the entire Himalayan region, and the Silk Road. In 2006, his discovery of archaeological remains of the Kingdom of Shangshung in Western Tibet caused a sensation. With his current project "Roads of Dialogue," he aims to stimulate exchange and overcome cultural barriers in the countries along the ancient Silk Road.
