Ansgar Graw, born in 1961, is a trained historian and author (including *Freedom Fight in the Baltics* and *Gerhard Schröder - The Way Up*). Since 2009, Graw has been reporting as Senior Political Correspondent from Washington D.C. and many regions of the USA for Welt, welt.de, and Welt am Sonntag. He is known from TV shows such as ARD-Presseklub, Hart aber fair, and Markus Lanz.
