The initiator of the museum of fine arts in Wolfsburg, Germany, Hahn is one of the members of its Board of Trustees. A member in various political and cultural organisations, among which are: the Board of Directors of Lauder, Institutes-Wharton School/ University Pennsylvania, the International Advisor Committee of Salk Institute, La Jolla, California, as well as the Board of Directors of Mayo-Clinic-Foundation in Germany and the Board of Trustees of the Foundation of the Cloister Ilsenburg in Saxony-Anhalt (deputy chairman). 2002 : Appointed honorary professor for "Industrial Enterprise Strategies" at the University of Western Saxony Zwickau (FH) Hahn received academic honours and was awarded high national and international medals from eight different universities inside and outside of Germany. |
