Stars over the Desert
A novel
It is never too late for love
Nowhere else do the stars shine as brightly as in the desert sky, where they seem to be within one’s grasp. Sophie von Contard has decided to spend her life in Morocco. Together with her husband Muad, she lives in the Draa Valley at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains. Muad is an extraordinary man, a dervish who dedicates his life to imparting the »wisdom of the heart« to his pupils. Shortly before his death, he challenges Sophie to finally find the courage to follow her true love: she is in love with his brother, Tarik, not with him. A book about life, love and the longing for confidence and security.
