With Kind Regards
Wisdom, insights and suggestions that really work.
„We are meant to be happy.” But, in reality, happiness can neither be bought nor wrought. It is an entirely random occurrence. Cardinal Christoph Schönborn talks about human happiness, both great and small, so-called and the real thing. He shows what it means to have happiness as part of our make-up. This anthology focuses on observations about happiness as well as friendship, love and death. But the Viennese archbishop also confronts the essential questions of faith. Including reflections on the name of god, on consolation in times of loss and Europe’s spiritual roots. The fact that these questions of faith are inevitably always central to any discussion of life is demon strated by Cardinal Schönborn’s examination of literature and the works of William Shakespeare, Gertrud von Le Fort and C. S. Lewis.
