Martin Rietze, born in 1964 works as an astronomy needs engineer. He developed an interest in astrophotography as well as a passion for volcanism very early in his life. His patience in taking photographs is legendary and has rewarded him with fantastic pictures of volcanos.
Marc Szeglat, born in 1967, studied geology and climbed his first volcano in 1990. Since 1996, he has been working as a cinematographer and author as well as producing nature documentaries for TV series like Wonders of the Earth, Adventure Earth, and World of Wonders. His area of expertise is volcanism.
